The Smoke was originally a professional bodyguard who protected many celebrities in the music and wrestling industries. While working as a bodyguard, one of The Smoke's clients was New Jack of ECW. While working for New Jack, The Smoke, who was at the time a member of the Marine Corps wrestling team, began to become interested in becoming a professional wrestler. After seven months of working as a bodyguard for New Jack, The Smoke became head of security for the Grande Wrestling Alliance (GWA). While working with the GWA, Smokey went beack to his Marine Corps roots and became known as Sergeant Prophet. While working security, he became involved in several altercations with various wrestlers in GWA. Frustrated by not being able to be a full participant in the ring, The Smoke was inspired to begin training full time to become a professional wrestler. The Smoke began training at Hawkin's House of Hardcore in Philadelphia. After training for just a few months, Sgt. Prophet moved to the PWA to continue his training and working towards his in ring debut. Due to his striking resemblance to The Rock, The Smoke was known around the independent circuit despite having never wrestled a single match. Prior to making his in ring debut, The Smoke made several appearances at different independent shows to a huge response from the fans, who thought that he was The Rock. The night of his in ring debut, before his match, realizing the response from the fans, Sgt. Prophet was retired, and Smokey Fontaine debuted. The response from the crowd was tremendous. No matter where The Smoke appeared, the fans always thought of him as The Rock's cousin, and were absolutely convinced that there was no way the two could not be related. Quickly, word spread that The Smoke and The Rock were cousins. To give the fans what they wanted, The Smoke changed his name once again, and became known as Smokey Myavia. With his striking resemblance and similar in ring style to The Rock, The Smoke takes his acts to smaller venues on the independent circuit and gives fans that might not be able to see The Rock live the next best thing. Since that time, as Smokey Myavia, he has worked for various independent organizations, such as MEWF, MEPW, IWF, PWA, WWU, and soon will be making a television appearance on ECPW. The Smoke has made numerous appearances at schools, on radio, and on television, as well as appearing at various charity events, all to huge positive responses. The Smoke is one of the rising stars in Sports Entertainment today, and has only scratched the surface of his potential. With his determination, skills and work ethic, there are no limits to how far The Smoke can go in the business....
